Maybe I’m getting old and tired (or worse, maybe I’m turning into an elitist hipster! D: but srsly…) I don’t like how kids these days are still watching/playing things from my childhood/adolescence AND they get more merch! Classics are one thing - everyone should know about and like Star Wars, Disney, Mario. But there’s this weird 90’s resurgence from people my age that’s filtered down to their little brothers and sisters. So now we have hipsterism, faux nostalgia, and elitism spanning several generations, because some teenagers are always going to be anti-mainstream, and hipsters are carrying that on from their angsty teen years. (Note: Hipster in this sense refers to people in their 20s-30s with a powerful anti-mainstream reaction to modern culture.)
And they’re getting more merchandise! (*jealous pout* - I’m too old to wear this stuff in public. It’s not fair!)

Things have been so fucking crazy lately with moving and setting up utilities and last minute planning and busybusybusybusy I haven’t really had time for anything but sleep and work… It feels nice to actually doodle.

Actually, caramelldansen is Swedish. It was just adopted by weaboos because the music group uses an anime style. Although you’re right, I’m sure it was intended as an “asian” dance with a Chinese animal.

My love is currently residing there (decorating goes to him) but I don’t get to move up till the beginning of June. :c It’s so gorgeous and spacious and I never imagined I’d get a place like this, especially as a first apartment!
